Slitting Line – Key Highlights
Material Capability: Processes hot-rolled and cold-rolled steel coils.
Thickness Range: 0.8 mm to 6 mm.
Maximum Strip Width: 1,400 mm.
Coil Handling:
Uncoiler inside diameter: 480–600 mm (with liner).
Coil outside diameter: up to 2,000 mm.
Recoiler inside diameter: 500 mm.
Coil car capacity: 30 tons (hydraulic type).
Slitting Speed: 50–120 m/min (size-dependent).
Scrap Width: 3 mm to 10 mm.
Drive & Power: AC and DC motors with total load ~450 kVA; main drives include 110 kW recoiler motor and 55 kW slitter motor.
Line Direction: Left to right, continuous operation from uncoiler to recoiler.
Core Equipment:
Coil car in/out, uncoiler, opener & press-down roll, three-roll leveler with pinch roll & hydraulic shear, roller tables, side guide, slitter (move on rail), loop table, scrap winder, tension pad, leveler, tension roll, recoiler, supporter, pusher plate.
Precision Components:
Hardened cutter shafts (45 HRC+), rotary cutter knives, assorted spacers, rubber rings, and separator discs for various slit widths.
Hydraulics: Hydraulic expansion/contraction, press-down systems, and automatic coil clamping.
Control System: AC & DC electrical panels with operation board; VFD control on key drives.
